Alliance for the Family

The Alliance for the Family guides children and young people towards the understanding and acceptance of universal values, skills and habits necessary for a healthy, happy and stable family and community. To strengthen self esteem and decision-making, it educates students on values and virtues as a part of their technical training to give them tools to become productive, healthy and happier citizens. It develops, tests and distributes materials as part of its program which was launched in 2004 in poor areas of Venezuela. This program has expanded globally.

As stated by Daniel Q. Kelley, Executive Vice President of the Alliance for the Family:

“In 2007, the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation made a grant to support the character development program of the Alliance for the Family. This grant was used to support a study of the impact of the program on the democratic attitudes of young people. Researchers at the College of William and Mary concluded that the program has had a statistically significant, positive impact. The Alliance for the family has expanded its program to the United Kingdom, Africa and the Middle East. With the help of donors like the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation, the Alliance for the family has been able to further its mission of improving disadvantaged children’s potential for leading more fulfilling and happier lives, and contributing to the well-being of society.”
