Augsburg College: The StepUP Program

The Foundation has provided capital funding grants to the StepUP Program at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which provides students in recovery from drugs and alcohol the necessary resources and support they need to be successful both academically and spiritually. The first grant was to assist in constructing the Oren Gateway Center, a multi-use building providing a living, working, studying, and meeting space for StepUP Program. The second grant was toward the establishment of an endowment to support the operations of the StepUP Program.

As stated by the President of Augsburg College, Dr. Paul C. Pribbenow:
 
"The El-Hibri Charitable Foundation has been a wonderful partner in our important work of transforming lives through the StepUP Program. We are incredibly proud of this program, and incredibly grateful of the support that El-Hibri Charitable Foundation has provided for our students."
