About This Grant
To provide space support to host ISPU Ambassador training and grant support for the 2020 Annual American Muslim Poll; and other organizational capacity support.
This grant will enable the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) to develop a staffing assessment and plan and expand the Muslims for American Progress (MAP) project. The MAP project advances inclusion of American Muslims by sharing often overlooked stories, quantitative data, and photo narratives of American Muslims who are contributing to the health, happiness, and wellbeing of their fellow Americans.
ISPU conducts objective, solution-seeking research that empowers American Muslims to develop their community and fully contribute to democracy and pluralism in the United States. ISPU has been at the forefront of discovering trends and opportunities that impact the American Muslim community. ISPU’s research aims to educate the general public and enable community change agents, the media, and policymakers to make evidence-based decisions.
