About This Grant
To support two related panel discussions: (1) Stories of the Prophets, to be held during the exhibition’s opening weekend, and (2) The Meaning of the Quran for Muslims at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, located on the National Mall. The exhibition featured some of the world’s finest Qurans from the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts (TIEM), and was the first major exhibition of the Quran in the United States.
