About This Grant
To support the Congressional Leadership Development Program (CLDP), which provides opportunities for American Muslim college and graduate students to learn the legislative process firsthand while serving as interns in Congressional offices.
The Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation (MPACF) was founded in 1988. MPACF’s vision is to provide Americans with an accurate understanding of Islam, and its mission is to engage in the research and development of issues related to human rights, democracy and pluralism; to educate all Americans regarding the teachings of Islam; and to serve the Muslim American community by promoting the Islamic values of mercy, justice, peace, human dignity, freedom, and equality for all.
