About This Grant
EHF Grant Support: Support production of films about Muslim and Jewish contributions to America
Grant funds will support production of a series of films seeking to explore the many Muslim and Jewish contributions to America. The films will aim to demonstrate the productive partnership between Muslims and Jews as allies tacking action together.
Smartypants famously created the "Secret Life of Muslims" series. Season 1 reached over 27 million people and fostered dialogue both online and in person at live events around the country. The series was nominated for an Emmy for outstanding short documentary, was a Peabody Award finalist, and won a Goldziher Award for outstanding coverage of American Muslims. It was produced by Seftel Productions, a member of the Filmmakers Collaborative and a media company which seeks to celebrate the diversity of everyday heroes.
